I have some bad news and some good news, but first i have to apologise for not updating the news on the site recently, It's mainly because not much has happened but I should have updated with something. Now onto the good news first. As you may have noticed some of the old news has appeared again. As you should know it was deleted when the site got wiped but thanks to the way back machine we found some archives of New-Empire's site (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.new-empire.com) and got the old news back! Bad news... With good news there is always bad news, it's a law of the universe I think... Well, the forums are falling inactive *hint hint*. but seriously, please post! You can earn New-Empire credits by posting there!       – Emperor Josh     Hello, You may notice a lot of the news is missing, that would be because the site accidentally got wiped, but we re-booted it, sadly from an older version but it's better than nothing I guess. It would be handy if you posted on the forum a bit more as we are thinking of starting a conversion system depending on forum activity. I know Josh and I will :)       – Emperor Ollie.     Emperor Josh is back from holiday in the Alps (with sunburn!) and hasn't broken anything, and Emperor Ollie will be back tomorrow, as far as I know he's OK too. Thanks to King Oscar and King Jeremy for looking after New-Empire while we were gone too.       – Emperor Josh (& Ollie).     Emperor Josh and I will be away from New-empire from the 8th till the 15th during this time we have decided to leave King Jeremy and King Oscar in control so please treat them with the respect they deserve, if anything goes then they have my mobile number and I will be able to help sort things out       – Emperor Ollie (& Josh).     New-empire now owns all its territory :) its ours! Also we are over half a year old now and are still running strong! Our alliance with New Oscland has become stronger as New-empire and Oscland's rulers become greater friends. The Empire does have one problem and that's our citizens are not very active members of our Forum community, also many don't check the site to the best of our knowledge... please citizens keep us together and strong New-empire cant make it with out you. April fools on the site down, however the forum and guest book really are down as we are having a slight error with the MySQL database. Thanks for reading me ranting on lol       – Emperor Ollie.     New-empire is now the name of our great empire thanks to all who voted, this page will be used to bring you news that is either very important or is just about this site. Soon (on the 15th of February 2006) we will own all our territory and we will be half a year old! We hope our citizens are all happy and checking to the site every now and then (and sorry if the OlliesPage.net pop-up is bothering you it should only come up once!) Josh and I will be adding to the site as we feel is appropriate. We have created Funding.new-empire.com as our new funding site and will be working on that and ways for the empire to make money as often as is mortally possible! :p That's all from me for now.       – Emperor Ollie. If you wish to use the remember me feature you can but make sure that you have cookies on or it will not work! Logging on is simple just use the citizen login on the left. I hope this prevents spam and helps make all our citizens have to do less work! We Have made our own empire and we have claimed three planets, forty-two moons, a star and a galaxy But be warned this is not a joke, we are have certificates of ownership made and will put a copy on as proof, and we are truly sorry that the star we own (Nemesis) may destroy earth with thousands of comets when it passes through the Oort cloud.       –
